Just wait til they lose to UCONN. Talk about rock bottom...

Ha, if that happens, Holgorsen will be fired before he gets off the field.

Lebron syndrome made it to cfb.

I don't blame them though. Glad Minshew graduated and left Mo's dumpster fire.

UH fans shouldn’t lose hope; the season isn’t over yet. They still mathematically have a chance to get to 8 wins.

Suppose he's trying to exchange text messages with Lincoln Riley...

Except 8-4 gets you fired, anyway. Might as well dump him now.

I'm more interested to see what they do next season when they don't win 8. Dana will have to find a transfer QB to have any hope of 8 wins next year.

, QB D'Eriq King says his decision is not final: "I've got to go talk to Coach Holgorsen. It's not just me redshirting. It's a bunch of other guys as well." (Asked when he'll make a final decision) "Today, after 5. It's not final."

The key phrase in that comment is "not just me...a bunch of other guys."

If true...yikes!

Man, Houston's season went from perhaps contending for an NY6 slot to...???

Is it possible to fire Holgorsen after one year, lol? He ain't gonna be 8-4.

Thats starting to get as old as the "Houston---we have a problem" line. Dana is going to be here a while---for better or worse.

the guys is a beast. how can a coach not have seen that? i feel you though i felt the same way about Kyle Allen and thought he was severely mismanaged. now he is doing great in the NFL with someone who is actually competent to coach him.

He has 2 on the roster now. Tune and Bryson Smith. Like Ward and King before him, Smith has been playing wide out, but came to UH as a QB. Also, I'd tap the brakes on the transfer talk. I think thats far from a sure thing.

this years OOC is the hardest ooc we'll have for arguably the next decade...

we are currently final 2 for an elite qb in the top 200....as a back up plan arizona states back up qb almost everyone expected him to commit to UH 4years ago. he flipped to arizona state...never won the job..he'll become a grad transfer next season..im sure we'd get him if we wanted

i'd rather see smith play QB. i'v seen enough of Tune and his "to whom it may concern" wobbly floaters he has thrown to last a lifetime. i like his confidence though.

LOL. Blame the president and/or Fritatta for saying it (I forget which). That will haunt you for a long time. Extremely dumb thing to say.

Ehhh---Tune was a freshman. Some kids develop---some dont. There are lots of great college QB's who were not ready to start as freshman. Let em battle it out---Im fine with whoever wins the battle.

But if King is sitting out the rest of the season, what real difference does it make? So maybe you get him back next year, while totally bombing this year. Would you even want a QB who does that?

IMO, that's worse than transferring. Now you're saying the season sucks, and I'd rather give myself another chance next year. Who has ever done that before?

Oh, he also mentioned "a bunch of other guys" are considering doing the same (sitting out and redshirting).
