Could be worse - case in point >>
1)o$u hanging 76 on poor Miami
2)Kent dropping 62 on bg
3)Eastern needing a last second blocked kick to secure a win against a bad FCS team
4)Toledo could be 1-2

So in retrospect, I’ll take the ugly win...

Does anyone else realize we don't #flytheflag. It seems like we are above the publicity stunt. Other teams embrace certain wins while we keep moving on with our lives. I could see us embracing a win in a bowl game but Candle has the guys locked in.

No idea where or when the flag thing started but a Toledo fan on the MAC boards posted something about us flying the flag under the Power Ranking thread.

Flying a flag for a mountain west win is pointless. Even BYU is marginal

But…but…it’s the PAC-12 slayin’ Mountain West! Beating them is just like beating a power 5, right?

I’d fly the flag if we could only beat the Sun Belt or the USA conference, Bronx cheer be damned. We can’t beat anybody from those conferences to save our lives but whenever we take on the MWC or American, we usually win…go figure!

Well we beat Temple, Cincinnati, Navy, Marshall, UCF, Pitt, actually beat Syracuse but got robbed. And add in the teams from the big, Purdue Ichigan Minnesota and then we have Arkansas, Nevada, Fresno State. We hold our own
