I will take the over.

We could make our defense faster, just by putting their uniforms on backwards.

This is great!

Starting RB Murray got hurt first half against UNLV and hasn't played since, though there's a chance he may be back this week since there was no real incentive to play him the last two weeks given the opponents.

Ryan Graham was just starting to get going as the backup RB and then he got hurt in the first quarter against SIU after scoring a TD and spent the rest of the game in Street Clothes. No real word what happened.

I figure the Troy fans might enjoy these lowlights from the SIU game so they can rest easy.

I'm not taking the bait.

StAte still has a good offense and some playmakers. We gave up 500 pass yards to USM, so we can't rest easy on anyone.

Plus, StAte throttled us at home a couple of years ago back when we were ranked... and we're 2-3 at home against StAte since we joined the Sun Belt.

I love my team and we have a lot of talent but we're just not playing like ourselves yet and we may not this year. If nothing changes then we'll end up as a 6-6 team. I talked to Coach Anderson late last week and he is actually worse now than he was when Wendy first passed. I guess now that everything has settled it is starting to sink in. I honestly don't believe he'll be doing much coaching the rest of the year although he'll try. Factor that in with all of the injuries that we already have and it is not conducive to a good season. We could show up and demolish anyone at any moment but I think that is few and far between this year. I bet Troy wins this handily.

Troy has a bad defensive secondary. Bad.

I don't understand the reasoning for thinking Troy is going to apparently demolish Arkansas State.

Southern Miss had a good QB and a few good WR's, and no pass defense... and they were still able to beat us.

Arkansas State has a good QB and a few good WR's, and no pass defense...

Quite honestly, there were a few drives in the first half of the Akron game where we should've driven down field and started to give ourselves a good cushion. But we kept stalling out... against a poor Akron defense. There's no reason for me to think that Troy can score in bunches against Ark State.

AState HAD a good QB.

Done for the year according to the rumor mill. Get your money on Troy before the line moves more.

Is this going to be like the Miami/FL game at the beginning of the season, “Miami: We want you to win, FL: NO...here have the W we don’t want it.”

Starter has an ankle and and backup tore his ACL vs SIU.
Starting QB may be out too.

Anderson said it's just a sore thumb (paraphrasing). Not a wrist issue as previously reported. He said he's not sure whether Bonner will play. I imagine if the backup is out, Bonner will have to play trough his pain unless it's something more serious than it sounds.

Listening to A-State's DC explain the plan is for the other team to run as many plays as possible is just perplexing.

So who all is injured? I know the RB's are injured, but I can't seem to find any information on players being injured.

Sounds to me like Bonner will probably play.

Looking forward to another fun, spirited game. Little worried about our injury bug situation; I’m hoping we’re not about to go full on 2014 mode in terms of everybody dropping like flies

Starting Center Stil. All-Conference DT Thurmon. Marcel Murray. Dahu Green. Jerry Jacobs (all conference corner).

Boner's hand is jacked up - he's been playing through it but hit it again Saturday - going to see a specialist.

It appears that half the starters on both teams may not even dress out. This could be a really strange game.
