Memphis is the 3 seed..tough 2nd round match up with Washington..the only other team in the NCAA with possible 2 lottery picks. I could live with the 3 seed but it would be tough to make the sweet 16. Isaiah Stewart is a tough match-up for James. And who wouldn't like a chance to go to the Final 4 playing and beating Louisville? Sign me up.

If we have a good enough season to make the NCAA tourney as a 3 seed that would be fabulous after missing it for 5 years

And it would bode remarkably well for being locks the next several years as well

I can understand discussing who are projected NCAA teams but wild guesses at regions, seeding and matchups in September are laughable.

Katz has us #13 in his preseason rankings. I think that's a bit on the conservative side. We should be top 10. But he's probably at around the mean for all the preseason rankings.

They're good.

I laugh more at us being in the #8 to #12 range due to our talent level being head and shoulders above all but 4-5 other teams. But it's realistic. We won't be given respect. We'll have to earn it. You're laugh is on point tho. Louisville traditionally has had to earn their respect too. However, with the ACC behind them and a coach that has done solid things with Xavier in tourney, they might get the benefit of the doubt this year.

How bout Duke at 3? Is that allowed? Katz may get sanctioned for putting them there in a way-too-early preseason prediction.
