La Tech over FIU- Ive lost all faith in FIU
Alabama over Southern Miss- Ouch
UAB over South Alabama- Hope a good crowd shows
Florida Atlantic over Wagner- Ouch
Virginia over Old Dominion- I don't think VA is good enough to be ranked, but they should still roll.
Baylor over Rice- Ouch
Clemson over Charlotte- Ouch
North Texas over UTSA- The Mean Green better be pissed and focused and roll the Runners like they should.
Nevada over UTEP- Hopefully a good game!

RE: *****CUSA Lines In The Sand - Week 4*****
Probably my worst week in pigskin prognostication since the Lines in the Sand was founded. Hopefully I will rebound this week.
.
Friday, September 20, 2019

8:00PM Florida Int’l (1-2) @ LaTech (2-1) - The Dogs should cover since this game is in Ruston and the Golden Panthers have been a mystery so far but this one could go either way, so I say La Tech by 6.

Saturday, September 21, 2019

NOON Southern Miss (2-1) @ #2 Alabama (3-0) - Alabama just doesn't lose very often and especially outside of the SEC. I think was 2008 when they lost to FSU and ULM. Don't expect a loss this weekend either. Sorry USM but the Tide will roll by 24.

3:30PM South Alabama (1-2) @ UAB (2-0) - This Jags from Mobile head north to Birmingham to face the Dragons. Look for UAB to win this one but the boys from Mobile might make it a little closer than UAB fans want. UAB by 7.

6:00PM Wagner (0-3) @ Florida Atlantic (1-2) - I'm thinking that Wagner is close to Boca and plays at the FCS level but can't recall what conference. Look for the Owls to put this one away early in the second half. FAU by 27.

7:00PM Old Dominion (1-1) @ #21 Virginia (3-0) - ODU actually hung tough with Va Tech so I expect the same with Virginia. Something about being within the same state that makes teams do such. That being said look for the Cavs to win by 17.

7:00PM Baylor (2-0) @ Rice (0-3) - Baylor might be working their way back to the glory days under Art Briles, how that happens in Waco is a mystery. Look for the home standing Bears to outlast the Owls from Houston by 24.

7:30PM Charlotte (2-1) @ #1 Clemson (3-0) - Clemson is number one for a reason. They have studs all over the place. I know Charlotte has been pretty explosive but the Tigers have given up no more than 14 points in one game so far. Look for a cakewalk by the Tigers in the other Death Valley, Tigers by 34.

7:30PM UTSA (1-2) @ North Texas (1-2) UNT - North Texas played pretty well out in Berkeley last weekend and now they are back in Denton. I just don't think UTSA has the horses to win in Denton. Look for the Mean Green by 17.

8:00PM Nevada (2-1) @ UTEP (1-1) - Nevada beat Purdue, got crush by Oregon and struggled against Weber State and since this game is in El Paso look for the Miners to make this one closer than expected, Nevada by 12.

South Alabama @ UAB

I've notice that you picked UAB to lose to Akron and now South Alabama. But in your 2019 Schedule Breakdown for UAB this is what you said:

#7 UAB

Yes UAB lost several players, but Clark has a history of winning, and in my opinion, is one of the top coaches in C-USA. Plus, UAB brings back almost half of the conference's best defense. UAB plays a weak OOC schedule, and drew two of the weakest western programs for their crossover games. After winning early in the season, I expect UAB to struggle down the stretch. But, even taking a step back, UAB should be able to post a winning record with their schedule.

My prediction for UAB 7-5 (4-4)

W- Rice

Yes. Akron is worse than I thought they would be, and UAB didn't exactly dominate them. Plus, Alabama State gave you more of a game than they should have. South Alabama should be UAB's toughest game so far, and better than both Akron and Alabama State. I wish I could pick UAB, but my gut and resent results tell me not to.

Oh it doesn't bother me you pick against UAB. But I don't think you realize USA is kinda banged up after two tough games and UAB is rested.

I knew UAB was coming off a bye week, but didn't factor USA's health. Who will they be missing?

Possibly their starting RB who is also their leading WR in receptions. He under concussion protocol. Of course USA can win but this game really doesn't worry me at all. Next week game road game at WKU does worry me.

Friday 9/20

FIU @ La Tech CBSSN
MY LINE: La Tech 31-20 I don't think FIU has it in them to get La Tech.

Saturday 9/21

USM @ #_ Alabama ESPN2
MY LINE: Alabama 45-16 This is going to be ugly.

South Alabama @ UAB NFLN
MY LINE: UAB 32-17 UAB should be able to get this done.

Wagner @ FAU ESPN+
MY LINE: FAU 27-10 FAU should be able to have a blowout win here.

ODU @ #_ UVA ESPN2
MY LINE: UVA 35-17 I'm not confident ODU can keep this close.

Baylor @ Rice CBSSN
MY LINE: Baylor 47-16 This will be ugly.

Charlotte @ #_ Clemson ACCN
MY LINE: Clemson 49-20 This will be UGLY.

UTSA @ UNT no tv/stream?
MY LINE: UNT 35-16 UTSA has looked really bad.... UNT should be able to blow this out.

Nevada @ UTEP ESPN3
MY LINE: Nevada 27-23 UTEP hasn't looked good again, but Nevada hasn't been stellar either. A narrow win by the Wolf Pack is what I think will happen.

Well, that's my story....07-coffee3

Close how? Location? Staten Island NY; Student body? 30k to 2,200; Division? FBS v FCS. We should crush them. Conference is the NEC.
