Agree Steve. Rock solid, absolute transparency and look you in the eyes when he says something. He will NEVER top the MAC in recruiting to Ypsilanti, but if he continues his current practices, I am OK with that.

With fall MAC FB postponed until Spring, who knows how recruiting will play out?

IF the staff is reasonable certain that there will be a spring season, then they can give out new scholarships for 2021.

IF the staff is unsure if a 2021 spring season will happen then they may want to delay making too many commitments for 2021.

Steve, my friend, we are indeed in uncharted territory. I don't know how a college football coach can actually plan from here and a spring season is hardly guaranteed.

How many high schools and JUCO's are actually going to conduct a fall season? That, after all, is where you recruit from. What are the NCAA scholarship limits going to be? How many low playing time seniors on your roster just decide to move on with their lives after graduating? The budgets of all athletic departments have all just been gutted, what kind of money are you now playing with? Shaking my head to say the least.

Anyone hear more about this? I saw the coaches making a lot of noise and The Ypsilanti Eleven posted on Wednesday that it looked like we were up to seven commits for 2021. Checking on 247 and Rivals this morning they still have us with the four commitments we already know about.

We have six confirmed on the first page of this thread. Number 7 may be forthcoming.

Yes this seems to be a fairly big pick-up! 247 and Rivals don't have him ranked at all, however he has offers from Air Force, Bowling Green, Ohio, UAB, and Rutgers along with FCS offers. He also took visits to some big schools like Clemson and Michigan but didn't get an offer.

Smaller guy, 247 has him 5'9" 185 lbs and Rivals 5'7" 176 lbs, but sounds like an exciting recruit!

GREAT pickup for us! Awesome to hear as he physically could be shifted around (slot, RB, Returner) to be used as a swiss army knife. I feel like we need a weapon like him to change momentum in tight games which we always find ourselves in. It's the same case for wanting to use Jairus G. more because I think he can change games with his explosiveness. Great get out of the South and welcome Bryson!
