HAMPTON
HAMPTON:

How easily do we handle Hampton? I am sure we will win. I’m just not sure how we’ll arrive there. Will it be a full blow out? Play down to competition? Work on things we need to straighten out making a closer score? Something else?

My prediction:
17 - Hampton
52 - Liberty

RE: HAMPTON
Good time for a FCS game. Should help build momentum.

Unfortunately, I'm traveling the next two Saturdays. Have fun flames nation.

Safe travels!

This is a must win game but I'd be surprised if we lost. Hopefully Buffalo was a turning point and things are starting to click now. Winning this puts us at .500 but losing makes it difficult to be bowl eligible.

RE: HAMPTON
04-cheers Great win today over Hampton. We did what we were supposed to. The subs all got plenty of game action. Bummer about Bennett. Things happen. I am pleased with the game result.

05-nono I wish the LFSN guys and ESPN guys would quit talking about Liberty going to 6-3 or 7-2. Let’s just take things a game at a time and not count our chickens before they’re hatched. I don’t want the boys getting that thought into their heads. Let’s just work on getting to 3-2.

There were some great quotes by the TV guys during the game...
“That refs breath is gonna smell fresh after the game. That was a tic tac call.”
“He has the patience of a snail and the burst of a cheetah.”

Were there really 18,00”+ at the game?

Happy with the win and any win. What a difference it has been to have Freeze on the sidelines instead of the booth. We look a lot better with Buffalo beating Temple after yesterday.

I like the momentum we're building. Let's see where we go!

For attendance, I think so. They sold out the center three sections above the students before game day, because of family weekend. The student section was a little lite, but above them was about as packed as I have seen it.

RE: HAMPTON
Finally watched the replay.
AGG is truly great!
3 special teams TD taken off was interesting.
Glad to see a win over the Big South.
It looks like LU is gaining a decisive talent advantage against FCS teams but still has a way to go against P5. In short, LU is steadily upgrading football.

I was traveling last Saturday. I wore my WMU shirt instead of my LU shirt. The guy next to me on the plane was wearing a CCU shirt lol.

I wish. I did wear my LU shirt around Myrtle Beach for a day. Had no problems and it felt great.
