Yup. However...definitely something wrong with his legs. Ellington took 4 sacks sitting still in the pocket. That's not the duel threat QB I know...

For whatever it's worth, post-WMU week for us has been surprisingly high-spirited. Lively practice and good energy throughout the week. So the locker room isn't in quitting mode yet like last year. That's a good news.

This game seems to hinge on Ellington vs the Texas State defense. Guessing Ellington is relegated to the pocket due to injury?

Most of the problems last week were timing issues and a lot of missteps in play assignment. We have 4 capable running backs we need to get mixed into this offense as well as great receivers and a veteran offensive line. It was not just Dan that cost us last week. No to mention that even Tom Brady ain't overcoming 700 yards given up by his defense.

Last week vs SMU was just embarassing. I guess Withers was not the problem... or at least not the biggest.
