I think GaSo is a home game, but the principle is the same.

Seems like yesterday the Cajuns didn't have any home games to get excited about in this conference. For a Wednesday that would be outstanding!04-cheers

RE: Attendance - Week 3
Ladd-Peebles Stadium ticket scanning system has been down since before the USA-Jackson State game. They weren't scanning tickets for the Memphis game. But I will say the attendance (whatever it was, was less than 15,000. Very disappointing. No excuses, even though they kicked off the same time as the Bama-South Carolina game, plus it was 95 degrees. We had six people there and drank plenty cool beverages.

GaSo is on the road. And you are right, our fans are fickle. When we string together a few good wins they show up, if not, they stay away in droves.

USA has much bigger problems than attendance to deal with right now.

If ULM could beat Iowa St. or play really well we might have a great crowd for Memphis. Really depends on what we do this week. Would love to stay in 1st place in attendance. ?

Would love to see this but do you think they can actually pull 30k on a weeknight?

ULM seems to have potential to have great attendance... if you guys could actually get to a point of having great seasons, I'd be curious to see how much attendance inflates. That season you beat #8 Arkansas, and then had 31,000+ at home vs. Baylor showed that.

Is ULM a bigger school than Louisiana? Are less of their students LSU fans than Louisiana? 28k is very impressive

ULL is way bigger than we are. We only have 9k students and they have 19k students.
Grambling brought a lot of those fans, and our 4 games against them are all in our top 10 most highly attended home games ever. With them only being 35 miles away, our games against them draw a lot of local interest.

If we go on the road 2 weeks in a row and win against Ohio and GaSo, you bet I do. 4-1 against App St at home, not competing for Acadiana LSU/Cajun fans. If it’s good weather we will have a large crowd.

Anytime a Louisiana G5 plays McNeese, Southern or Grambling they will have a top 10 type crowd. All three programs travel well. Or local fans show up to support them.

Pretty sure someone gunning down 9 people IN Ladd just a few days before didn't help a damn bit. People already erroneously pegged the surrounding neighborhoods as "the hood" and that little sht-show won't be helping one bit, then and also going forth. Who wants to take their kids to a stadium to watch a game in a venue with a "scarlet A" if they didn't know any better? Sad, but at least we've got a light at the end of the tunnel "hello, Hancock-Whitney".

The stadium will be ready.... USA is ready to get out. Fans were allowed to bring in 2 waters a piece in a soft cooler, we worried about Ladd running out for the few fans that go. I was in the snow cone line at the start of the 2nd and they were already running out of several flavors. I saw people taking their channels to go home after the 1st quarter based on game play. Once Minter went down, the team was done. We have to find a way to establish a rhythm on offense, to let the defense rest.

I still question whether Edenfield is the right guy for the job. He wasn't at Troy, don't know why he would be at USA.
