I'm still ticked that it wasn't last week versus GT, but it's nice to go home with a win, even if it's an FCS school.

Two weeks to see if this means anything going forward or if it's just a tiny flash.

Jordan McCloud looked great, the defense forced 8 turnovers including five fumbles (both are records).

You can put in your snarky comments as you like. It's been an 8 game losing streak. The monkey's hand is off the back.

This has got to be right up there with "We covered the spread!"

From what I saw, couldn't watch the entire game, SCS was putting up a ton of offensive yards. If not for the turnovers would have been a very different game. Still have huge issues on O line. We just did better because McCloud is pretty mobile.

That said, we did win big against an FCS team... which is what should happen. And finally snapped the crappy losing streak.

Truthfully though, I think SMU rails us in two weeks. Unless we really get busy over the next couple of weeks...

Our new QB, Jordan McCloud's, statistics in a game and a quarter.

23 for 35 for 328 yds, 4 TD's 0 INT's
19 carries for 85 yds 2 TD's.

In a little over a game 413 total yds, 6 total TD's, zero turnovers.

SMU will have their hands full with McCloud.

Jordan looked good, but overall this game made me realize that this team will struggle to get to 6-6. I see maybe 2-3 wins left.

The defense got takeaways but against a decent team, they would have been exposed for just how soft the secondary is and our offensive line looks like cupcakes holding hands. This isnt a good team and I am worried.
