I thought that was the 1990 team?

I don’t ever recall beating San Jose State, just the ass-kicking Deromedi got playing same.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I recall us losing 52-24 to San Jose in the 1990 bowl season. Their fast little back, Sheldon Canley (sp?) seemed to find every crease in our defense, despite the fact we gave up less than 9 ppg that season.

Still a helluva year though, and my first full season following CMU football. Our only conference loss that season was Ball State, and we beat Brad Tayles and the little ponies at home.
