It is not believable because what was stated was not true. Charlotte did get 8 cards, but only 3 were red. Charlotte did manage a tie despite finishing 3 men down in OT.

Charlotte was 2 men down for 24 minutes and 1 man down an additional 5 minutes or so AND the crazy thing is we had several scoring opportunities in the 2 OT periods (much closer to scoring than WVU).

WVU’s attacking third isn’t very good. Huh, kinda like the football team.

Great showing by Charlotte. Probably would’ve won had it not been for the red cards.

What in the world did they do to earn 3 reds?

Lot of West Virginia flopping from what I’ve read.

Charlotte’s coach was pissed after the game. Players had to separate administrators.

I doubt it. Very seldom will a team go two men down, let along three. I think when that happens the team just wings it and hopes for hte best.

WVU had a gifted flopper. Not going to lie. WVU coach played the ref like a fiddle though. One red was for running into the goalkeeper on a corner kick, which was absurd. Both players jumping for the ball.

WVU coach was embarrassed though. We ran his team ragged with 9 guys on the pitch for 30 minutes. Had more corners and shots on goal during that time, than WVU's 11 players.
