RE: *******CUSA Lines In The Sand - Week 3*******
Why do we schedule MAC schools? Outside of Marshall and maybe Western, nobody in this conference even remotely benefits from playing these games. We did H/H's a few years back with Ball State and Ohio and I could never figure out why. We don't recruit there and they don't sell tickets or travel here. Shoot, they don't even sell tickets to their own games.
FAU over Ball State- The MAC sucks.
Army over UTSA- Army will probably have a massive home field advantage in the Alamodome.
Louisville over Western
North Texas over CAL- I'm pretty sure CAL will score 70 on our hopeless secondary and crush us, but I wont pick against us on principle.
Tech over Bowling Green- The MAC sucks.
Charlotte over UMASS- UMASS sucks tremendously.
Troy over Southern Miss- Probably will be the best game of the day.
Marshall over Ohio- The MAC sucks.
Duke over Middle
FIU over New Hampshire- FIU better win.
Texas over Rice- By a lot.

In the last ten years, Army is 10-2 against teams from Texas. Their only 2 losses during that time were to UNT, in 2016 and 2017. So hats off to the Mean Green. Hopefully we won't lay another egg today.

Army is a tough out. They tend to block low, so your player and are forced to risk injuries if they want to stop their attack, or just let them have their 3 yards. By the way, the game looks good on the NFL Network.

2:00PM FAU (0-2) @ Ball State (1-1) FAU -2.5
MY LINE: Ball State 27-24 Should be a tight game.
REALITY SAID: FAU 41-31 More O than I thought... not as tight as I thought... FAU is a bird of prey
0-1
3:30PM Army (1-1) @ UTSA (1-1) ARMY -17.0
MY LINE: Army 31-17 UTSA hasn't shown me enough to think they can get by Army.
REALITY SAID: Army 31-13 Not too far off on this one.
1-1
4:00PM Louisville (1-1) @ Western Kentucky (1-1) LOU -10.0
MY LINE: Louisville 35-17 Louisville looks like the stronger team.
REALITY SAID: Louisville 38-21 In the wheelhouse again.
2-1
4:15PM North Texas (1-1) @ Cal (2-0) CAL -13.5
MY LINE: Cal 31-21 Cal looks a little stronger than UNT as of right now.
REALITY SAID: Cal 23-17 About what I thought...
3-1
5:00PM LA Tech (1-1) @ Bowling Green (1-1) LT -10.5
MY LINE: La Tech 37-18 La Tech should be able to get this one.
REALITY SAID: La Tech 35-7 BG did better on offense than I thought.
4-1
6:00PM UMASS (0-2) @ Charlotte (1-1) CHAR -18.5
MY LINE: Charlotte 37-24 Charlotte has been looking somewhat decent so far.
REALITY SAID: Charlotte 52-17 OWNAGE. I guess Charlotte is turning the corner.
5-1
6:00PM Southern Miss (1-1) @ Troy (1-0) TROY-2.5
MY LINE: USM 27-20 USM, to me looks like the better choice, Troy's lone game isn't against someone I could say inspires me with confidence for them to beat USM.
REALITY SAID: USM 47-42 Wow...way off on the offense being generated from this game. But, a tight game like I figured.
6-1
6:00PM Ohio (1-1)@ Marshall (1-1) MAR -5.5 GOTW
MY LINE: Marshall 27-21 Marshall should be able to win this game, I just hope that BSU loss doesn't mess them up mentally.
REALITY SAID: Marshall 33-31 A tight game like I thought.
7-1
7:00PM Duke (1-1) @ Middle Tennessee (1-1) DUKE -6.5
MY LINE: MTSU 31-21 MTSU has looked good enough to me for them to take down a travelling Duke team.
REALITY SAID: Duke 41-18 Kind of surprised Duke had it in them to beat down MTSU--they hadn't looked that good so far.
7-2
7:00PM UNH (0-1) @ Florida Int’l (0-2) FIU -9.5
MY LINE: FIU 27-23 FIU has been less that confidence inspiring so far but I think they should be able to pull this one off.
REALITY SAID: FIU 30-17 So FIU can blow out a subpar team.
8-2
8:00PM #12 Texas (1-1) @ Rice (0-2) TEX -31.5
MY LINE: Texas 51-18 This will be a bloodbath.
REALITY SAID: Texas 48-13 Yup...
9-2
Well, that's my take anyway.
9-2 still isn't too bad I think.

Helping out Thunder today with standings, and I have to say - the two above are examples of how you should NOT do this. Holy hell. Thunder's job of counting all these beans is tedious and long as it is, please keep it simple for my guy!

This is not correct. Rice beat Army twice in the last ten years:
2014 Rice 41 Army 21
2016 Rice 38 Army 31
