Not to take this too far in another direction, but do we really want to put people into jails/prisons for stuff like that? I feel like there are more appropriate ways to get some restorative justice than putting a person into a cage for that particular crime. Don't get me wrong; it's messed up & absolutely a crime. Just not sure why jail time is a good idea.
Since this seems to be the "anything but JMU sports" thread (which I happen to enjoy as long as it doesn't become a cesspool)

Instead of doing 14 days in jail, paid for by taxpayers. How about her sentence being 1 year as a teachers aid in a public school system? I think it would be good for some of these "elites" to see what takes place in the real world.

Ha, I'm not against that idea!

Yes, one full year. All pay earned to go to the monitery portion of the sentence. No vacation/personal days allowed. Live the position.
