Whew (sigh of relief)! My eyes saw "A Y E ....to Chattanooga" and my brain converted "A Y E" to "Ayesa" before, fortunately, the actual spelling kicked in..

Wow. Towson is loaded with talented size. Matchup nightmare for more than just the CAA this year.

Big question remains as to whether or not he can learn to climb on someone's back before the season starts. That's crucial to getting minutes on Towson's team.

Delaware picks up 6’8 Stony Brook transfer Anthony Ochefu. Rotowire writes the following:

“ Ochefu averaged just 1.3 points and 1.9 rebounds across 6.0 minutes per game during his junior season. He will look to earn a bigger role during his senior season with Delaware. It remains unclear if he will qualify as a grad transfer of if he will require a wiaver from the NCAA in order to play in the 2020-21 season.”

https://www.rotowire.com/cbasketball/pla...p?id=15722

Delaware has one open scholarship remaining now.

I'm confused. Is this a grad transfer or will he have to sit another year. Can you transfer twice as an undergrad? I can't remember what the current transfer rules are.

Jeff Goodman tweets;

“ UNC Wilmington's Ian Steere received a waiver from NCAA to play this season. Told it was a run-off waiver which St. John’s supported.

95 percent of the waivers granted so far this offseason have been run-offs.”

Three of JMU’s four sit-out transfers were granted immediate eligibility.

https://jmusports.com/news/2020/7/27/men...hoops.aspx

Since they now don’t need to sit a year, it means they won’t be able to leave as grad transfers unless they graduate early.
