Lots of DI coaches following him (I’ll list them when I get a chance).

What an eclectic collection of schools. Small private schools, big public ones, Big East to every small conference, east coast to west coast (Or at least to Boise).

Maybe a sign that Bill Coen could be leaving for somewhere else

Keep in mind kids entering the portal can still come back. This whole flexibility towards the student athlete is constantly going to create lots of players to enter their names, test the water and if a better opportunity bites, take it, otherwise return. Until leagues state that entering the portal eliminates you from scholarship with that school, players are basically incentivized to enter and see whats out there.
In this case, I think there is a lot of rumors going on with Coen leaving, likely to BC. Coen's name was strong last offseason too. I think his run to the title game from 6 seed only helped his cause.

Makes sense to me if he wants to get a big payday. He is a very good coach. The best one in the league over the last 10 years.

Also, I think you'll see a rise in Graduate transfers. More guys are going to try to graduate in 3 years, knowing it's an option.

Coen leaving is bad for the CAA in the sense that there will be less talent at a head coaching position, but say goodbye to Northeastern being a perennial contender.

CAA MBB Transfers - 2020
No reason to assume they won't find a great coach. If he leaves. Mickey Matthews left JMU and it seems they've gotten better with each successor.

Are they leaving or are they entering the portal? Not trying to be snarky, but there's a difference, as we saw with Luke last year.

You’re right - I have changed the wording.

I think we've seen some announcements where the player was basically severing ties, so I wasn't sure. Thanks for clarifying.
