The answer is Stockstill needs to be removed or resign.

I honestly thought getting Buster Faulkner out would get the offense doing more than screen passes and laterals winding up tackled behind the line of scrimmage.

We seem like there isn’t much aggression. I love what Asher does. But honestly he does most of it on his own when the play breaks down or the defense sniffs it out.

A great illustration of how having a QB with skills doesn't overcome crappy coaching and totally discombobulated team.

Brent Stockstill would’ve flourished in a different system. I get he wanted to play for his dad. He grew up around this program and it was already home to him before he enrolled for his first class.

Making the choice to leave Cincinnati and Tommy Tuberville probably cost him a chance to avoid so many injuries and get a better chance to go out for an NFL taxi squad.

Where in the Beeegeezus did our defense go? Love to watch O'Hara and the offense. They look slightly better than Ok. But, our defense couldn't have stopped a 95 year old man from scoring a TD tonight! And, I'm sure Cutcliff and Duke picked up some Nashville area recruits from our assist in making the Devils look like world beaters!

Just a pathetic effort. This is the kind of crap which is killing attendance. This was a pretty decent crowd for Middle Tennessee and Middle being Middle, and Stockstill being Stockstill. Our football team doesn't show up at all. The fans will find other things to do the rest of the season.

Hopeful after our last annual Money Game at Iowa, when we return to Floyd stadium; fans will still show up (maybe 18,000, if its good weather and UT still sucks) for the Marshall game in the Boro. If not, or if Marshall steamrolls the Raiders; MT Fans are moving on to MBB and WBB.

I’m surprised how bad of a loss it was. My honest opinion is that they thought they could beat Duke at home and let their overinflated sense of confidence basically cause them to think they could show up and win. Just like against TSU.

Maybe they’ll give Iowa due respect and at least play better and with more focus and precision.
