Biden first started campaigning to be president in 1985-87 (angling for the 1988 nomination). The results were disastrous. He took another shot in 2005-2008 and got 1% or so in Iowa before dropping out. He took a pass in 2015 because he knew he didn’t have the resources to go up against the Clinton machine.
It’s just not true that doesn’t “want” to be president. He wants it in the worst way and has been wanting it for over 40 years.
Quote:I know people who are close to Biden and have known him and worked with him for years in Delaware. They've mentioned to me that his health is not good, and have mentioned about a recent mini stroke, that seems to have been completely ignored by the MSM.
Other Dem. candidates are in a bit of quandary on the matter of Biden’s health and fitness for high office. On one hand, they want it to be an issue. On the other hand, they don’t want to be the *first* one to raise the issue. But at some point, I believe it will come up.

Ah, but the question is: Will Bite'em get elected? I doubt it. Just like the Swamp thought Killery would be elected and all their meddling in Trump's campaign would never be found out. Unfortunately (for them) they lost and they'll lose again in 2020.

Ah, the Demonic propaganda at work again. Do any of you think that if this was really the case the MSM wouldn't have jumped on it already?
Sometime, these idiots don't even think before posting. Pendejos.
RE: Biden is the DNC's Trojan Horse - Change my mind
Biden aint winning the next election. Neither are any of the other loons. Now the one after that, who knows? And that's a scary thought because at this point I don't see any conservatives stepping up and making a name for themselves as POTUS material with the exception of maybe Ted Cruz who I'd gladly support.
Bwahahahahaha, and you think because he's limping that he had a mini stroke? Ha, ha, I guess I have mini strokes all the time. Hey, little boy, that's one of the ravages of old age. If you're lucky to live long enough to be called an old man you'll realize that just getting out of bed in the morning may cause you to limp...and don't forget that every bone in your body may hurt too.

This is indeed troubling as I don't see anyone in the GOP with the necessary personality. And after Trump's run you know the DNC will try and convince Oprah to give it a shot.

Maybe Nikki Haley?
I like her but not sure if she's POTUS material. Maybe by then though, who knows...

Neither am I. The hope I think is that Trump (if he gets a 2nd term) can establish enough of a policy groove for the GOP that it becomes difficult to impossible to deviate from. Ultimately, that was why he burned through so many cabinet members as they were opposed to:
- military demobilization
- leveraging U.S. consumer demand for more favorable trade deals
- locking down the Southern border
- ending/marginalizing non-profitable alliances
Not to says his judicial appointments aren't important, but those four are huge accomplishments IMO. It will be impossible to redeploy the military without a serious recapitalization, so I'm not concerned thew first will change course. But the other three can be easily reversed.

RE: Biden is the DNC's Trojan Horse - Change my mind
2024 might be the year for another true outsider. President Trump is as close to a true 3rd party President that we had since I was born (1960) and probably the best damn democrat President, other than Clinton. Those democrats in congress today just didnt understand that and cut off their nose to spite their face. The republican almost did the same but they came around...Trump had to pull them by the nose but at least most got on board. One other thing the President has done to the republicans...
he's pulled them closer to the center and being more centered is a good thing for this country
I'm about as centrist as you can get, voted democrat and voted republican for President, Congress, and Senate. I'm pro life, in the true sense of the word. That differs from most republican. I would never let that one issue, sway the way I vote. The one thing I dont see at this point is a democrat in a national election that I would vote for. I might not agree with a lot of things the republican runs on but I'm also not as scared of them.
So 2024 I'm hoping for another true 3rd party president...even if they run under the flag of republican or democrat. The difference I want...both sides seeing that person has value to each in making this country better for the middle and working class. The top is always going to be taken care of. If not...those in the middle and below are screwed
