Eh, not really. I was there maybe the way the cameras were facing but there were tons of empty seats there. In UCLAs defense the Rose Bowl is way out of the way and there are tons of other things to. I see no reason any casual fan would drive out to the Rose Bowl to watch UCLA.

There was 54,000 in attendance for the UC game, and that was with the new hype surrounding their big splashy new hire.

I was there. It was a lot more full than the previous picture showed. Opening game doesn’t mean anything. If our opening game was against a FCS team, it probably wouldn’t draw well. The Chip Kelly Rise and fall probably has a lot to do with it, admittedly.

RE: Who Here was Concerned...
To get back to the original post - yes I was concerned. I was concerned heading into the UCLA game that there would not be enough Coors Light in the stadium to get through the whole game. And yes, by early 3rd quarter I was drinking Great Lakes because there was no Coors Light to be found anywhere. What happened to the days of having the big troughs set up on the East concourse underneath Shank? Most of the beer vendors carrying the tubs didn't even have to go into the stands as there were lines of people waiting to buy all of their beers in the concourses. Need more locations selling canned beer for quick serve - too much standing in lines waiting for draft beer at concessions.

And for the record.....I continue to be concerned about the Coors Light situation heading into the Miami game.

Blasphemy

6 hour of Coors Light is do-able. 6 hours of craft beer not so much.

To each his own. I like to get my beer buzz in 2 beers not 6.

I do too, usually. But not on gamedays...or at the lake....or on the golf course.
