The guy who killed 22 people at the El Paso Wal-Mart went to high school at Plano. EP Eastwood is less than 2 miles from that Wal-Mart. The two schools were scheduled to play a high school football game but it became more than just a game. Here is a link to a story from the Los Angeles Times, with a video that is worth watching. I teach at Eastwood and the team and coaches made our school and city beam with pride.
