LOL at the Cowboys comment. Beating up on one very bad Giants team shows you nothing.

Agree about Cam. He has had one good year, i've always thought he is severely over rated

Cam is the anti-Brady. If Brady had the ball on the last drive, two minutes left, you KNEW the Patriots were going to score. I have never seen Cam lead his team on a game winning drive and i've never felt like the Panthers would win a game when we had to have that last drive to win.

When do they move on? I've seen other teams that draft someone when a QB gets "iffy" like Cam has the last few years, If i'm not mistaken, the Panthers really have not done well with a plan B.

No plan B at all. Cam has now lost 8 games in a row. If they aren't in contention this year, he will be replaced.

Agree that if that's the case this year, Carolina should move on. There are teams out there that would take Cam on in a trade, and the Panthers could potentially find a replacement. The problem there is where do they look for one? Do they look for a veteran -- and who would be available that is better than Cam? Do they go back to the draft -- and can you find a franchise QB in the draft better than Cam?

Not saying those things can't be accomplished, but a team can really screw themselves even further if they mess that up, which is statistically easier to do than get it right.

Also... lol at that Cowboys prediction Bill. Y'all gotta prove you can take down Philly before you can even pretend to predict a SB appearance. If I'm not mistaken, Cowboys fans say this crap every year but the last time the Cowboys were in the SB was when we were all watching VHS and listening to music on cassette tapes.

Beating the Giants really isn't a huge accomplishment right now.

RE: 2019 NFL Regular Season
The time is over for the Panthers to protect Cam. Let him run. He might get hurt. So what? He's 30 now, and he's not a good pocket passer. They'll need to look for a new QB either way.

For now, let him do what he does best. Otherwise defenses will just play man coverage all day. Cam is only dangerous as a passer when D's are forced to respect his running ability.

So it appears, per our options bestowed by 'ol Wild Bill, the general consensus is leaning towards...

BUST.

RE: 2019 NFL Regular Season
You guys can't see what is happening! It's already over!! Count it a LOCK! Rams are good if running game is good but Cowboys are loaded on both sides of the ball and now have an offense. You will see starting this Sunday on the road. It's theirs to lose.

Too bad that the great one, Tony Romo, got shafted on so many bad teams. And before you bash him, check the books. He had one of the best passing ratings in history a few years ago and had countless come from behind wins on teams that sucked. The man period. Super smart and skilled and got the best out of what he had to work with. Finally has a good team and they win 14 games only to lose to Green Bay on a bad call.

Well, I'm warming up to Dak and they have a great OC that will put up big points. Who will beat them? Maybe the Pats at NE? Maybe Philly at Philly? I'm looking at a 13 plus win year and the Superbowl right now. Book it.

And, I take it all back if they slip against the Deadskins, who played well last week but beating Big D even at home, to me, is unlikely.

If you are a gambling man, I'd be happy to take your money. 13 wins? Whoaaa

I've been a Cam defender his whole career, but 82 is right... He will be replaced. The new owner will purge that organization if the season keeps going in this direction. While it may mean a couple years of being at the bottom of the league, it's probably the best move long term.

Easy to say now, but Cam was having an MVP-esque season up until he got hurt versus the Lions last season. While I can't argue he's come crashing down ever since, this whole I've been saying it for a while now just makes you sound ignorant IMO. Cam is one of the best rushing QBs to ever play in the NFL, the stats back that up. As a result he's had a career arch of a Running back, I don't think this really surprises anyone. Cam's career is better than Andrew Luck's, but people won't ever have the same admiration for him as they did Luck.
