Wouldn't be even SLIGHTLY shocked.... wow, you really need to get some counseling to get over that battered fan syndrome.

Let it go. Multiple people have predicted us to be the G5 Access Bowl rep and our rep is growing each week. We are 30th in the Coaches Poll and doubled our votes in the AP.

It would be UT losing to GA State scale to outright lose to S AL. So it should be quite upsetting ,not to mention not even slightly shocking.

Also Nebraska had no right to be ranked.

If 538 yards total offense is not look good at all, what does look good?

Quit looking at the name on the front of the uniform. They have a RB who is #3 in the nation in all-purpose yards. And a top 30 defense. Their main issue is they are averaging 4 turnovers a game.

I think back to last year and the Tulane game. We did not see that coming either. You never know for sure how things are going to play out. Have to be ready for every game.

New QB too. He's completing 57% of his passes for 6.8 average and has 3 TD's and 4 INT's. He also has 25 rushes for 42 yards.

Exactly ... Their biggest home game ... Maybe ever !!! They're gonna be sky high and ready. We better be dialed in from the get go !!! 07-coffee3

I wouldn't call USA a cupcake, but whatever. Now, Southern University? That was a cupcake.

How can it be a road game when we’re playing America?

Well, it's a home game for America. ;-)

Memphis definitely biggest game of the season but we've had some pretty big games at home:
#10 Oklahoma State in 2017
#19 San Diego State in 2016
NC State in 2015
#11 Miss State in 2014
Navy in 2014

We also have a possible top #25 App State team visiting this year.

I hope all who visit have a good time. Downtown Mobile is fun. The stadium is old and dated. Don't plan your day around the stadium. Go get brunch at Five or Spot of Tea on Dauphin Street then head to the game. Afterwards head back to Dauphin Street.

Mobile is still the rainiest city in the US I believe. The Alabama is pretty fun to visit.

If we go into the S Al game the way we did Tulane last season, I am pretty sure we could face the same result.

In 2017, we had more points than they had yards with a couple of minutes left in the first half 38 points to 32 yards. We played 2nd and 3rd string most of the 2nd half which lead to their points.
In 2018, we got off the bus thinking we were going to win. We got our butts handed to us.

I don't think we will face a situation like Tulane again. Even against Southern, our defense came out a little flat and they stuck it to us. We woke up quickly. IF we learn from those experiences, we will have a great season!!

yep, the beat Nebraska in every stat category. And last year this was a close game through 3 quarters.

You can't just layout stats from 2 games without some analysis. SA had over 400 yards rushing against Jackson State. Minter had 16 rushes for 189 yards.

Against Nebraska SA rushed for 83 yards on 44 carries. Minter had 10 carries for 37 yards.
