Anyone have any updates since he’s been cut? Would love the bears to take a flyer on him and put him at OLB.

Love the kid, but I'm more than happy with our linebackers... we need a better secondary

How he’s still on a team is beyond me. Major injury every year of his NFL career. I believe he’d be a pro bowl player if it weren’t for all the injuries.

Didn't seem to bother him against Iowa.

True. We’ll see if he still plays. Is it me or those it seem like players in college are more willing to play with injuries than the Pros do?

I think in the pros that they are more likely to be told not to play. Plus they are starting to get to the age where they start realizing they don't bounce back the way they did when they were 18.

Unfortunately, Niners fans seems to hate Jimmie since he can’t stay on the field. Searching his name in twitter is rough...

Surprised Smith hasn’t gotten more looks yet. Wonder if the XFL or CFL is in his future?

On a related and brighter note, Max Scharping to start at RG for the Texans tonight.

Will he say Northern Illinois or NIU on the intros they do for the Offensive starters???

Melvin had some nice pass breakups for the Lions but left the game in the 4Q. Lions could've used him.

Thanks kept looking for him. Noticed that he looked very tan, might be in south. He will get his chance

He was getting good press down here but the line as a whole was not. The Texans then traded for two veteran lineman last week which bumped him to the backup spot.
