Is Hudson's situation still considered in play? Is there a parallel with Peters i.e. was Peters initially rejected for immediate eligibility and on appeal before being changed? (I'm legitimately asking, not trying to be sarcastic as I hadn't heard anything about Peters even initially being rejected, much less on appeal.)

I recall Hudson's appeal being rejected weeks ago but then he tweeted something vague about hoping/believing it might still work out just before the season iirc. It seems like there has been a player or two who finally were awarded eligibility in the last few weeks after having already lost their appeals as well, but I didn't take note of all the details so I could be off on that.

I believe we have moved on. Fickell pretty much said that and Chad Brendel is adamant that Hudson will not play this year. We will see Hudson next year. Other than "why Peters and not Hudson" (can't compare if don't know the details of each situation), this is a non-story for UC.
