Kind of hard to place any stock in those numbers yet. I am sure it will look different after we play some real teams. Playing FCS and Ole Miss isn't exactly the best way to test your defense.

Don’t look now, but Mississippi threw for 246 against Arkansas in a win, and almost totaled 500 total yards.

Speaking of pass defense, what's the word on Claybrooks? Is he coming back any time soon from his injury? He is a excellent DB.

Oh I did look, but you do realize that Arkansas is total crap this year as well right?

What you’re trying to say is that we have by far the best football team in a 250 mile radius, and the pass defense is our strength.

He played quite a bit yesterday. He will be a beast in a couple of years. It was hard to tell against the Southern OL because they were pretty solid, but he showed signs. He will be a force for us for the next couple of years.

Danny1, I’m sure you’re a good tiger fan but may need to stay away from comments or at the least trying to belittle those that may know a few things.. You can watch the game as many times as you want; the player you refer to as a beast yesterday, never played.( and by that mean more than dress out, because he did that) He is number 6 my man. Good luck!

Has Trevis Hopper played yet? He looks like he may be one of the better defensive lineman on the team.

I could've sword I saw him play. I thought Cunningham was still on the shelf?!

Even with giving up the late 73 yard touchdown in garbage time, passing yards allowed per game is now 110 yards.

First of all, if you read the post, another poster said he WILL BE A BEAST in a couple of years. Secondly, I know what number he is. Finally, he did play a couple of snaps against Southern. Good luck to you too!
