Jack has a great arm!
Jack is our MVP. Our offense is one dimensional and the poor guy is under constant pressure. He has great accuracy and arm strength. We are lucky to have him. I hope he doesn't get hurt this year.

RE: Jack has a great arm!
JA's arm is weak as crap. If you cant see that you have no idea what you're watching. He made one good throw to adams all day and yes it was for a TD thank GOD. However everything else was short if it was caught or in the dirt. Then late he floated everything and threw two INT's. He must be the best we have which is even more of a problem. I would think that a good staff would be able to tell if someone on our team was better at the QB position. I'm giving the Staff the benefit of the doubt on this one and guessing hes the best we have.

I ain't giving them benefit of $#!%. He didn't seem to be the best we had last year and he doesn't now. Like a pinball machine the ball dings around, but tilts when it matters. We have to have someone who can move around a little, and inspire this sad sack team before the season is shot.

You have teams like Army and Navy that are very competitive at all levels and they don't even recruit. So to say we cant't get players is ridiculous. They run triple options etc., mainly because they can't get the players other schools can. It is ALL about coaching. Get a coach in here that will recruit athletes that for one reason or another don't get signed at power schools. Example. a 5'9" 160 pound receiver and put him at QB with other similar guys in the backfield with him and run a quick triple option offense. What we are doing isn't working.

Or hire an OC who can put the pieces together. Oh well, Thanks Bennett! And by the way winning is no longer important with the new focus by Bennett and our sorry ass conference and commissioner. This crap sifts down like poison leaching into the water supply.

I remember when Mullens had a shiTTTy arm and Monk couldn't coach...I laughed at the same cast of characters back then too...

this was a big game in the confidence column for the offense....I have to tip my cap to Buster....he should've done that against moo-moo....we may not have won, but I'd rather lose with a confident qb and roll the dice before going conservative after getting down a couple of scores...he made the right adjustments yesterday...

we're going to need 30+ pts. to win games this year...

our secondary needs some serious help....any team with a qb worth his weight will do XACLY! what Troy did moving forward...

Billings and Davis need to get their heads out of the arse and put on a better thinking cap with our defensive backfield....that's on Hopson to straighten out that bs...

our safeties have to start making better reads to keep the bama game (or any other team with a decent passing attack) anywhere close to respectable... JA isn't going to 'stud out' every game as they'll start blitzing him more as the year progresses...everybody already knows our running game is almost non-existent....

UAB, WKU, UNT, and La Tech will torch our arse if they don't fix that part of the equation quickly...

Jack had the best game of his college career last night. Hitting receivers in ‘full stride’. Proud of this young man. Apparently this is the player our coaches thought they had.

Silence? No, just didn’t bother sorting through messages at midnight

Jack had a really good game. Not gonna lie though, on one of those wr screens he threw the ball, I went to go pour some more drink, came back and got good and comfy just in time to see the wr catch it and get tackled for a 2 yard loss. Not sure of the hang time on the pass, but it was impressive for a 20 yard throw.

JA had a great game made several good throws to boot. However several of his deep throws were at best 50-50 balls that quez went and got but that's what you do sometimes. I'm not gonna take anything away from JA it was a great game for him. He still has a weak arm regardless but if he keeps playing like that i can live with it.

Looks like we have several of the folks here that were saying the same things about Nick Mullens. Seems like Abraham is coming along almost identically as Nick did. I wish him well...

Good call stank.......we shoulda/coulda/woulda played all-out on offense against Moo U instead of those dump passes and screen sh!t (although we did not have Watkins, of course.).

Don't think EVERYONE in C-USA will put up 500 passing yards on us (although Bummer most certainly will if we play all discombobulated like we did Satdee.), but we need to be prepared for more 42-35 or 38-33 shootouts unless the secondary improves dramatically.

Now back to Bummer: I say put the game literally into the hands of our receivers and go for broke, 'cause I'd rather lose 62-35 than 45-3! 03-lmfao

Oh yeah, fock Nick Satan and the Yellar Hammers, don't play skeered or intimated, and make sure they know they can kiss our azzes! 04-cheers

That is all

Yep.. I was silenced.. I'm not happy we gave up 40+ points, but that's not on JA...

Onto the Bama game..

Maybe Hop will make me eat my words this season in conference play.

go back to the moo-moo thread and read through the play by play.....

that should've continued....

ain' no postpartum shoulda coulda about eet...

and yeah, you got either score about right for bammers depending on what Buster decides, so there's that.... 03-wink
