Rude was Middle Tennessee's band in 2014.

Human Jukebox was very conceding to ours.

Great band. Loudest band for sure, ever, IMO. And clearly not an ounce of couth, which just ruined it.

I could hear them. Early on I decided they were going for brute strength and had no nuance.

Just rude as hell.

Still baffle why most schools outside of HBCU don’t offer more pizzazz and put on a show with their bands. USC offers a bit of it and a few others but for the most part it’s pedestrian with the rest

Our band sounded better...thru the feed. lol more balanced. more musical.

They sounded very potent---but no sensitivity.

I sat close to their band. I enjoyed it.

I did think the heavy police presence around the visitor section was pretty funny, though.

Rude? I've been a section of Memphis fans that yelled "Go to hell Ole Miss" all game long and we weren't even playing Ole Miss. Wait, I think I was yelling it with them. My memory is blurry for some reason.

Schtick aside, a few things that were surprising

They played loudly while our band was accompanying our spirit squads between the 3d and 4th quarters. That was probably the single most disrespectful and surprising thing

They played during the plays

They played over our band at other times too

The crowd was very respectful to them when they performed at halftime, many watching them then getting up when our band played

They can do better, not an overall good showing

They are used to battling other bands. Their goal is to be better than the other band. Memphis band should have just sat that one out.

I thought ole miss' band was MUCH worse.

Our school does far more announcements and contest than a lot of schools do. I think they just got sick of waiting for "their" turn. It used to be they switched opportunities. The only two times it was really annoying was when they played over our band with the Pom squad and at the end of the game. They were still better than ole miss.
