As soon as walked into the Superdome and saw the teams warming up I knew they game was over.

+1, yep, that Florida team was loaded with Nfl talent. They were #1 most of the year, and i believe they lost the close one in the Sec championship game to put them out of the Nati game. Our 2009 team was great for a Uc team, but they did have challenges to overcome particularly on the defensive side of the ball. We were lucky to outscore a lot of folks. Wasn't always pretty, but was exciting.

Yup they were loaded. Since 2000, I would say Miami Fl (‘01-02) and that Florida team we played were the two most talented teams to not win the Nationals championship.

We actually played pretty good defense earlier that season but the defense wore down as the season went along. By the end of the year everyone was putting up yards and points on us. However our offense was as finely tuned machine as I've seen. I've always believed without the staff turnover we would've scored some points but we wouldn't have ever stopped a team of Florida's talent. I was thinking it would've been a 41-28 type game where we weren't competitive but didn't embarrass ourselves either.
