Fall sports off to a rough start this year.

Field hockey loses to Ohio state.

Volleyball, women’s soccer, men’s soccer, field hockey. All playing tough competition but none of them winning.

Seems to me one of the slowest overall across the board starts we’ve had that I can recall.

Is this really just a place to hide from the FBS crowd? It won't work!

So, what other sports do we play?

I don’t understand your post. DD is attempting to start a thread discussing other falls sports and you bring up FBS vs FCS. Why? Maybe DD is thinking their are others wanting to discuss the subject. Why kill it?

I was making light of just about every other thread turning into the usual arguments. We've got lots of other quality programs, glad they are being followed/supported.

Why doesn't JMU have a men's lacrosse scholarship program?

Would probably require adding an additional women's sport to keep in line with titleIX and so JMU can stay where they want balance wise.

We have talked about men's lacrosse in other threads related to spring sports. Back to fall sports talk.

Aren't the Volley Dukes suppose to be pretty good again this year? Do they have some injuries?

Not sure about injuries but they do have a very difficult OOC.
