He's comparing apples to oranges. WMU got three 5th year transfers that are one and done. That isn't portal, its 5th year redshirt rule. WMU lost a P5 level WR that has three seasons left. G5 and FCS schools are getting good 5th years, P5 schools are getting good G5 transfers that will impact their programs for 2-3 years. Kids 18-19 years old making career decisions doesn't always work out. Brown goes to Ill, who wins a championship first WMU or Ill? Who goes to a better bowl next three years? My money on WMU. The same could be said for MSU. What is their likely goal? Another Tampa or Orlando bowl?
