I'm heading out today for a long weekend of football games. So, I thought I'd go ahead and start this game thread before I leave.

Of course I think North Texas will beat SMU tomorrow night. My prediction...

For those watching tomorrow night on ESPN3, SMU will be having a "white out" for their first home game of the season. North Texas will be sporting our all green uniforms for this game, and the Mean Green fans will also be wearing green. It will be interesting to see how much of their stadium is occupied by North Texas fans. This game had a crowd of over 29,000 at UNT last season. I'd think it would draw another big crowd at Ford Stadium too.

Before this game really gets rolling just want to say not all of us are drunk on green kool-aid, we are going to have some growing pains on defense and have to win the majority of games with our offense.

I sure hope we don't get our doors blown off today...

Hoping the Mean Green can turn this thing around. Not the start all of us were hoping for.

I don't know who wins the west this year, but if it's us holy **** CUSA is weak.

We are not anything more than a 6 or 7 win team with a good QB.

Where is the CUSA "Heismann Candidate" QB we've read about ad nauseum since last December? He needs to get to the stadium and do something.

Uh, CUSA fb has been weak for quite some time now.
