I say that Rice lives up to their #1 CUSA ranking and excels in the following phases of the game:

Rice will be IMpROVED in these phases:

Passing Offense
Kickoff total yards
Substitutions
Unforced fumbles
Total Punts

Rice will not regress any further in these phases:

Rice might lose ground in these phases:

Anyway let’s get to the bottom line, Rice wins this thing 25-24 on a last-minute game winning extra point.

After going 0-3 on both XPs and FGs, Rice scores the game tying touchdown at :24 or :25 seconds left. After all the placekicking difficulties, we line up in the Wild Owl for the PAT rather than a placekick formation. Seeing all receivers covered at line of scrimmage and 7 in the box, QB audibles to a drop kick to cinch the big win.

And the hurricane is all talk for the Deacons. While the Demon Dorian is for sure ripping the NC coast ... in Raleigh and, 100 miles farther west in WF's Winston-Salem home, winds are light with a 0% chance of rain.
