TBA games
Bronco home games with CMU & Miami are still on WMUBroncos.com with time TBA.

Certainly makes it tough for out of town fans to plan the weekend

TBA games
I'm assuming there's a shot either of those are CBSSN primetime games so they're waiting to see who they want.

RE: TBA games
I actually just talked to the ticket office about this while I was getting CMU tix. I assumed they were waiting on TV but figured it was worth asking. They said TBA game times will be announced 12 days before kick.

Not WMU's fault. Blame ESPN/CBS, or the MAC for taking their TV deal.. but I suspect it's similar to most conferences around the country.

Are you seriously trying to make plans to be in Kalamazoo for part of those days and not be in Kalamazoo for the other part of the day?

Common sense says those games with start somewhere between 2 and 7. It should be fairly easy to finalize plans once the official game time is announced.

Not speaking for him, but my plans hinge on when that game starts. Can't stay the night so if it's a 7pm game I probably can't make the trip. 12 or 2 and I'm there because I can still get back to the east side at a reasonable hour.

I understand what you are saying and mean no disrespect but this is why the games have such poor attendance. There are too many fans that need things to work out perfectly for them to maybe attend the games.

I wonder how many UofM fans or Alabama fans or ND fans or the list could go on have so many reasons why they won't attend their teams games.

Yep, not a priority like it is for other programs.

IU people, Purdue people make more of an effort. They have TBD and weeknight games, they have disappointing seasons, yet we pale in comparison.

I'll never forget my disappointment when I flew back for the Virginia Tech game, they were ranked 5th in the nation. Saw the crowd size at kickoff, no people filing in, and it wasn't close to a sellout.

How we roll as Bronco fans, but that late start thing is stopping me from coming rings hollow.

Sparty will be tailgating, partying like crazy on Saturday night, and it's a very late start.

And there'll be no virgin girls at that party, I can tell you that! Hence, reason to go to EL! :)

Very succinctly put. Our fans just don't prioritize games the same way as others.

RE: TBA games
Not sure what more I can say, but fans of other programs plan their weekend around the game: rain, shine, snow, morning, evening, night, vs ranked team, vs unranked team, family obligation, doesn't matter.

Reality is, the game vs Monmouth started at 7, was over by 10ish.

I get it from an individual point of view, but the problem is it's an issue fanbase wide.

RE: TBA games
People definitely don't prioritize our games generally speaking (conference wide issue actually). In fact I found that most people found it weird if you cared as much about them as big ten games etc.

Yep. Personally I can't stand the big 10.

I'd also argue it's a G5-wide issue, other then the top few teams in the AAC, so it's nice this board exists where there's MANY G5 only fans.
