yeah just looked like it was rolled up on. im excited to see more Gainwell and some combo of watkins/tim taylor and apparently rod clark will get some snaps.

sucks but its Gainwell time now. Looking forward to seeing him in a more full workload capacity. He impressed me during the Ole Miss game.

The announcers seemed to think it did, thought it looked like one of those "rolled up on" that can be major. They commented that it was good to see him with his helmet back on. It looked to me that as he was milling about around the outside of the sideline huddle, he was a little gimpy.

I am guessing we won't need Taylor for the Southern game. So, letting him rest will be good. We need him for the big games. Plus, we don't want to injure him this year, and, make his stock in the NFL go down.

Jonah just on with Geoff just said that Patrick Taylor "probably" will be out for the South Alabama game as well.

Let's hope PT heals completely over the next couple of weeks and is ready for Navy on the 26th.

If it truly was a very serious injury then word would have gotten out by now. Nobody keeps things like that secret for long. Always someone going to snitch

Walking boots are more commonly used as a stabilizer to prevent dorsiflexion and plantar flexion. If its just a sprained ankle they're being cautious by booting it

It could also be a high ankle sprain which would put him out around 4 weeks. It sure looked like ankle on that play. I am pretty sure you would wear a boot with the high ankle sprain.

Look for freshman Rodriques Clark to get some carries. Could determine if he will redshirt or not. Norvell has said good things about him in camp.
