I hope so, but this team has regressed from where it was last year in my view. Zac Thomas has not been impressive thus far, and the team is sloppy. We need to get it together now.

Need to be better to beat UNC and even more so to beat South Carolina. Glad this game turned into a decent fight, helps the kids grow before the next game.

Ted Roof, there was some controversy because he is a journeyman DC and had limited 3-4 experience.

Ted Roof. I'm not gonna say he's a bad hire. I've seen some good and some bad from his defenses in the past. I think we were just really spoiled after having Woody and Brown.

That UNCC possession is why he was a controversial hire, he keeps blitzing and hollowing out the center of the defense. We've given up multiple big plays right up the middle on runs and short passes. The time to make adjustments was at half....

Some major defensive issues, need to clean that up before next game.

You don't fix this mess in a week. It's structural. This team has significant issues on the offense and defense.

Healy was coaching quite a game until going for 2 there.

We got defensive issues, that last TD was a prayer throw but how they got in position is on the DC.

5 wide and he sends the house, QB knew he was gonna have a shot 1 on 1 at least. This has been a sad, sad game by the defense. What little hope I had for Roof is gone.

Yes it is pretty stunning and it's not over yet. Poor schemes, poor execution.

Pretty amazing watching this once great defense come completely unraveled before our eyes.
