and it is unbelievable how bad the broadcast production was by ABC from a visual standpoint. Why do they show closeups of players and coaches and fans until the last split second before the ball is snapped.
I want to see the player alignments, adjustments, etc.

Discuss...

The announcing didn’t bother me this time. I knew we were going to win. There were two signs of our coming victory here in Cali . Both unmistakable.

A quote as I recall it from watching it last night:
"Brady White had a lot of adjustments to make when he got to Oxford..."
Color guy, "Not Oxford.."
"Excuse me, when he got to Mississippi..."
Color guy, "You mean Memphis."
"Yeah, Memphis."

Totally ill-prepared.

Another gaff was not knowing which QB was the veteran and had another potential season vs the youngster.

Yeah, my wife was playing solitaire on the laptop while I watched the replay and she noticed that too. She asked me if these guys are being paid to do this game.

welp....

1. A couple days before the game when I started getting nervous. I found a grey and white tiger striped snake playing possum in my driveway. Lived here for 20 years and never seen one.

2. A vintage hotrod car show came to my town the morning of our game. Main Street got closed off, and all the cars parked there. Parked right in front of my store was a BLUE Barracuda with a stuffed Tiger animal in the window and a big stuffed black and white striped Tiger sitting on the hood (lol a snowtiger) and a Tiger tail was hanging from the back bumper.

These car shows happen every year---I have never seen a Tiger on, or in, any vehicle.
I couldn't get to the tailgate but the tailgate came to me.

Missed the live broadcast because I was moving my son, so I watched the replay. I kept backing it up trying to see the beginning of the play then I finally realized that they missed the beginning over and over. It sucked. Worst production ever. Announcers slobbered all over ole miss.

Also the stupid graphics the production team worked on and they had to shoehorn into a game where both offenses were trying to play up tempo.

But I think that was a lot of it. Neither team was giving them a lot of time for establishing shots.
