The entire team needs to bring the funk this weekend.. State is beatable.. I wasn't impressed with them... If not for some blown plays on ULL's part, State would be 0-1.

I hope last weekend gives them false confidence.

I'm pretty sure their fans weren't impressed with us either - if any of them bothered to watch the game. If not for a couple of special teams plays, our score would have been scary close. My personal opinion (which is worth about what you're paying for it) is the first games rarely mean much. You just want to get the W (which we did) and come out healthy (which we didn't).

I'm with you though, I do believe State is beatable. I do believe the entire team will bring it - I just hope the coaches do. 04-cheers

The State fans I know are much like the hard core Auburn fans.. They think they're Bama level talent, but they're not..

MSU didn't look good nor did they look like teams in the past.. I think they'll win most of their OOC games and maybe slip up and win a game or two in conference, and barely make a bowl.

I still say you should only go to a bowl if 4 of your wins are conference games.

Pretty sure our coaches won't bring it. There is clearly a certain level of ineptitude.

Last game, T Mosely has 2 receptions on the first series. Obviously, the game plan was to include the RB in the passing game. After he went out, there were zero passes to the RBs. Now how the hell can you put yourself, as a coach, in a position where losing a RB changes the entire offensive game plan? They go into a game with no confidence that another RB on the roster can catch a pass nor is ready to step into that role if TM goes down?

IF so, did you ever consider 'eggs in a basket' with our depth chart is a serious fk'n problem in development...

oh yeah, did I mention arm strength isn't a problem in that schema....

Prob not. And thats what you apparently don't get. Arm strength is a huge problem in that scheme. Thats one of the points ive been preaching and some have a hard time following. Bc JA has a weenie arm, we are running "that scheme". When you run that scheme with a weak arm, it hurts the entire offense. The defense knows we/he is no threat on down field deep balls and invites such. Therefore, the defense crowds the line and knows what to expect when they know he cant throw deep. That results in ZERO running game and attacks and henders the "scheme" of throwing the ball short- which is 85-95% of the offense.

tell that to Montana and Brees....it's not the arm....it's the receivers and quickness with the reads....

ref: see Jerry and Michael

we REALLY miss Quez....I'm certain JA does too....

Sure wish Hop would let Quez play this weekend. Let the team vote. Sit him against Troy. Our top 3WRs are a tough matchup against anyone.
