It was just released (2pm central)—-the Steelers have announced their practice squad and Sutton is not on the list.

As one of the players listed is international, there is technically still one spot available, but would find it odd that they release all the names at once and waiting to call out another.

So let me get this straight: he got drafted, received a good sign on bonus, and didn’t even make a practice squad. Crazy that a franchise would just waste a pick and money like that

He has to end up somewhere...

Or he’s injured or really not good enough and they don’t want to waste any more money. Draft picks get cut all the time....this is not an oddity.....just is worth watching because he’s from NIU.
