No...if it was UCF instead of ECU, I wouldn't be counting it as a traditional New Years Day/BCS/NY6 bowl for the Knights. That was well before the Peach Bowl became a premiere NY Day game.

The Gator Bowl has typically been played on New Years Day most years, but it is not considered a premiere NY game.

The two conference schedules I'm talking about. Boise's and ucf's. Doesn't Boise play Hawaii and Wyoming? Both of those teams beat P5s in Week 1. We will see how it goes but as of now it's probably prudent to add those two to the list of teams that augment Boises conference schedule.

You are not going to have a lot of fans in this thread after what BSU did when the old Big East changed to the AAC. You do not like it, go to the MWC board. You, also, better hope that Boise goes to the NY6 this year. The MWC depends on them.

I picked Fresno St to win the MWC chip this year. Yes, I do root for other G5 teams when they play P5's but not at the expense of teams from the American. I'm not drinking your blue kool-aid and I don't post threads of drivel on other conference boards with regard to my team or this conference.

I have no reason to support Boise or the MWC (I pull for Memphis and Cincy) but, in fairness, I can see how anybody might have BSU as the top G5 team after Week 1.
