1st QTR observations
Defense looks really good especially the front line. Like the 4/3 scheme.
Offense clearly lost a lot last year in Pollard and Henderson, but Taylor looks good
Dont like the play calls. Screen pass on 3rd and 2 and then a runup the middle on 3rd and Long? Are they just trying to get too cute or do they see something I dont.

Yep, play calling has been head scratching on a few plays. Those 3rd and 2s throwing the ball 4 yards behind the line of scrimmage have just been stupid. Thank goodness we got the facemask call on the 2nd one, ended in our td.

Yes. We definitely got bailed out by the refs on that touchdown drive.

I’m not sure we can get away with the outside screens unless we can’t block the linebackers better/longer.
