J'mar hasn't looked awful so far honestly, mostly just a few really questionable play calls and solid Texas D.

Yes he has been fairly accurate on his midrange throws which is an improvement

Switching to 3-4 also seems to not be working for us. Only stops of Texas offense have really been their fault more than something we have done

Missed wide open receiver for a TD. That was definitely bad J’mar

Missed FG's and poor D really costing us so far. Texas is better but they are having trouble covering WR's but Holtz keep wanting to run delayed draws as usual

I mean that last series, once they finally started lining up 4 and bringing pressure we actually stopped them of our own accord.

We finally score on our 4th trip inside the 30. 38-7 Texas early 4th quarter

38-14 with about 7 minutes to go.

Only good thing is we have moved the ball easily on UT most of the game but we have to be able to make FG kicks

Over 400 yards of offense and only 14 points. Red zone scoring is an issue.

True, I really think this game bodes well for conference game play. Not just looking at the score but watching the game, Tech move the ball but the kicker is horrible.

I watch the FAU game also, Tech played much better IMO

On Texas' forth TD we didn't even cover the WR- as in nobody covered him at all.
Our defensive secondary needs to stop reading internet stories and practice covering WRs.
The kicking game was embarrassingly bad.

I don't know what to make of the game. I couldn't watch...had to listen. Again I didn't see anything but it sounded like our kicking game sucks balls, our passing defense could use a little tightening up and polish, and we could use a better running game. That couple with bad field position and untimely turnovers made it look like we pooped the bed.

They are shaming us on another thread, but (shhh) a few tweaks and I think we will be better than the score showed.
