Asher wasn’t bad for his first major game with the offense on his shoulders. I was really impressed. Made some smart decisions and I think he will hold up well in conference play.

I wonder how we will fare against Iowa. They’re not as talented as Michigan. Might be even closer. Overall I’m hopeful based on that performance. Very gutsy.

Glad it was not as ugly as I imagined it would be. Pleased with the effort, not the loss.

Hopefully they focus on tn state next week. Ugh.

Defense looked good. Offense looked meh.

A very respectable performance. I did not see LaTech's game but both MTSU and FAU had shown reasons for optimism.

I hope we pack the house against TSU. Isn’t the record attendance at JRF from when TSU came to visit? They travel really well.

They’re probably still reeling from losing their quarterback suddenly. Pretty awful dude if all the allegations are true.

Considering for a big part of the 2nd half Middle had awful starting position. I thought the Middle offense played decent. Just a few inches on some throws or runs from keeping a few drives alive. I was expecting a lot worse QB play.

Not many teams are going to drive 80 to 90 yards on that defense.

To put this into perspective we played better against #7 Michigan on the road last night than we did in the bowl game last year against App State. Promising sign, but need to see more.

Gotcha. I remember the TSU game from my senior year in high school. I was visiting campus and the decent crowd impressed me. It’s been a long time.

Was at both the GT and UofM games that are 1 and 2 respectively. Wish we had some of those crowds again. We had a lot of excitement then. Maybe this performance will intrigue the fan base and get a few butts in the seats for the next two hole games. Duke looked less than competitive. If that’s indicative of their talent and less about playing Bama... it’s goijg to be a winnable game for us.

I really hated that Michigan pulled away as I thought MTSU was showing up pretty good. Truth be told I went to watching a movie, fell asleep within like 10m and didn't wake up till like 11:30pm.
