Rice down to Army 14 to 7 with 2 minutes left. Driving. They have an offensive line that is moving defenders. Rice looks like they have made a leap forward since last year.

RE: Scores of interest
Akron has some speed at WR and QB, but they have a ways to go on both lines and their defense seems slow.

Tennessee getting pushed around by Georgia St. 28-23
Their RB is average 5.5 yards a carry and they are moving the ball easily.

You don't want to judge teams to harsh based on week one, but damn Tennessee. P5 isn't what it used to be. LOL.

And you thought we looked bad.

Remember that GA State was able to take over the "TED" and renovate it for their football program. Last figures I read about them were that they were operating on a $200 million athletic budget. If that is true and can be maintained, they may leap frog other Sun Belt programs and some C-USA programs in the next realignment go around.

NOT even close - GA State Budget was just over 30 million a year with revenues 20 million from student fees and 7 million from school(deficit)

BB did you confuse GA State with UGA (Georgia)??
