He ran down a Ohio WR from like 20 yards behind to save a TD last year. He’s going to be real good.

I can vouch for the fact that he is a very articulate, fine young man, as he sat with my wife and I at last year’s kickoff luncheon. We were very impressed. Good luck, Jordan....we always follow you on the field.

I was in the stands; was that a LB that just ran down that WR? Looked at the roster; yep.

While I would prefer to have all 3 of our starting LBs, of the 3 it is better that it is Lance Deveaux that is out v. Kyle Pugh or Antonio Jones Davis. We look to be good with Jordan Cole - he certainly is athletic and you can bet he will be playing hard. My only concern would be the depth after Jordan Cole.

Is Bonds hurt, surprised he's not on the 2 deep.

I was surprised Bonds wasn't on the 2 deep too, but I guess that says more about those that are - Labus and that true freshman must be playing well. Either way I assume Bonds is healthy and will be on the special teams units and is more than capable if needed. He's an athletic kid, although he could still do some filling out as I recall he is still somewhat lean.

Thought he played pretty well

He literally ran down ISU's QB when other LBs would have saw the QB turn the corner for decent yardage. He was playing at a speed that ISU was not accustomed.
