Not gonna lie. This isn’t looking good. Eventually this evens out and UCLA puts up points.

Exactly! It’s frustrating but we have to remember it’s still the first game of the season and there is a lot to like. Outside of penalties and 3-4 plays you have to love what we’ve seen from our team. Just have to stop hurting ourselves and finish this game and learn from it moving on.

And UCLA looks as self-destructive as we do right now.

So, Vegas knows what the hell they're doing after all LOL!

After all that back and forth, I'll take the lead into the half. My biggest positive - Dez looks so much better this year throwing the ball and making reads. My biggest negative is some of the play calling on offense. In particular, on the play at the end with the interception - three TE's flush to the left (the ball needed to come out quicker) but I would've run Dez on a bootleg to the opposite direction of the coverage. He probably would've walked it in the zone.

The line is actually doing better at pass blocking than I anticipated but no so much on opening some lanes for the backs. It's one half in the books so plenty of time to get some things corrected and we can move the ball on these dudes but need TO SCORE TD's.

Just to steer slightly off topic, but these announcers' attempt at comedic banter is driving me nuts! Just call the game!
