Think we take 4 in 2020.

IMO class will hopefully be Green, Brown, Sissoko, and Springer. Might see Chris Moore or Cliff Omururyi. If one of those guys falls through in 2020. We’ll have to see if there are any extra guys to draft or unexpected transfers.

Will more than likely have to apply for waiver, but we will just have to wait and see.

Does he have a reason for a waiver? It looked like he left Florida because Blackshear committed.

Then again, he's arriving at Memphis where the front court is crowded as hell. Maybe he expects to sit a year, Precious and JW leave for the draft, and there's an opening.

He took an injury redshirt last season, so he would be eligible this year as far as I understand.

I believe that was the year before. He played last year and appeared in 26 games.

I’ll let other people more informed then me to give their input.

But after following him and his tenure at FL these are my thoughts:

1) I’m actually surprised Penny offered a coveted scholarship

2) Whether Stokes is eligible this year or not doesn’t matter because he’s not close to beating out any current player

3) Stokes needs massive basketball level conditioning and that will take a year if he commits to the gym

4) Penny sees something special in him for the future so I trust his instincts cuz Penny has proven himself to take his guys and make them better

Again these are just my perceptions based on researching stats etc on the World Wide Web

No inside Info etc.

Stokes played for Penny on Team Penny on the EYBL circuit.
After injuring his ACL? in high school, he packed on weight.
Trimmed down some, he was a 4* player that Florida went hard after.
I believe the staff will get him back on track.

Penny knows him well, and whether we believe he can help the team or not I assume the coach knows much more about the situation than i do. I would expect he will be well below 280 before he ever sees the court.

i've never seen him play, and have no opinion on his skills, but a 60th ranking out of high school is not bad.
