The Pac-12 as well as the Big Ten also play 9 conference games. I know 10 conference games isn't very likely but we could go to 9 and still have 3 out of conference games.

Maybe we should keep UConn for football but not give them any money...and they have to play 8 road games.

Yeah, not happening. Navy is important to the conference, and none of the other conference members would want just 2 out of conference games.

We should cut a deal with CUSA … their league champ gets bumped to the AAC and our worst team is regulated to CUSA.

That last part is a joke … kinda.

I don't think so. I think we would keep divisions and just play an unbalanced schedule, like the Big 10 did for years with Penn State added.

It's not going through. The AAC is not even considering 9 conference games, much less 10. Aresco said so in that interview.

10 games LITERALLY not happening.

The Commish addressed that in the interview. He said absolutely no way AAC will go to 10 game conference schedule.

If we don't get the waiver ... Means no championship game. We'd have to add someone. But I think the waiver is a done deal.

Our best chance to play in a bowl with a REAL money payout is to adopt this format

Play 1 Chimp game

Play one P5 team

Other 10 games are in conference against solid teams

It's a no brainer and our best chance to get a NY's day bowl game

Playing 2 OOC games vs Southern and GA State isn't helping our odds

Dude we aren't going to ten league games, chill the freak out.

The whole of NCAA football should go to this. the P5 teams want their prestige, let them have it. However let them also be tied to G5 conferences and the worst teams go down and the best teams go up. It gives everyone a shot, and teams like OM would eventually end up where they should be.

Will never ever ever ever infinity go to 10. Wouldn’t mind 9 though. Play everybody except 1 team meaning worse case is play each team minimum 3 out of 4 years. Could drop 1 cupcake non conference game and increase schedule strength. I would be all in for this!

I think 8 conference games is enough; allowing for a gimme, a high G5 , a P5 and another GOOD GAME TBD.
