So if we have all this high rated talent on the team, why do they stink? I was always of the opinion that JJ was a good coach and a lousy recruiter. But on paper at least, the recruiting has picked up the last couple of years. Thats why I was hopeful for this season and really looking forward to next year. So what is going on? We should be good, but we're not. It cant be coincidence that all of JJs three star guys cant shoot.

One of the reasons is we only have 1 senior on the roster. I expected us to be a little better so far this year but we don't have a lot of experience.

I also never would have expected Green or Dickens to be as bad as they have been so far this year. Those 2 and Godwin have the potential to be much better than they've shown in the early going.

As far as not being able to shoot, Green is shooting 35% from 3 and Godwin is shooting 34%. Those are bad numbers per se. Curry was never expected to be a shooter for a PG. Wade obviously cant shoot and never was expected to be able to shoot well from the outside. Oliver can shoot. Too early to tell on Hunter.

Get real. The only player on that list that looks like a good shooter, has left the program. Also, remember Travis Fields left because of no playing time, now he is Radford's best player. Forget all the stars you listed, as so far they are not working out.

I know Im wasting my time but Fields is best player? Forgetting others, have you heard of carlik Jones?

As far as ACC teams coming here to play football, that is even slipping with us playing UConn via going to North Carolina. Eventually a lot of AAC teams will stop coming for football. As far as basketball forget any ACC teams coming here. We should up grad our out of conference games by playing teams like Liberty, Radford, College of Charleston, and Davidson which I know will play ODU'

I'm an OK Boomer and it really doesn't bother me. Every generation has its own slightly derogatory term for their elders. Longevity is its own reward. Youngins who can't appreciate what an honor it is to live to be old will, someday, when their grandchildren make fun of them.

Slightly disagree here. I believe everyone should start from an attitude of respect for others. Respect is a given, which can be lost based on ones actions. On the other hand, trust must always be earned, seldom if ever just given.

Would appreciate you repost what I wrote now because the fact is that no slur was thrown at anyone and now you have everyone implying I called someone an N-word when in fact it was used as example of what you can't say. Understand why it was deleted, but I think now the context is more important than censoring the word as now these twits are going to use it for slander.
