What Do You Most Want To See Thursday Night?
Ok Captain Obvious, aside from a win. I want to see a healthy 1B Doaks making significant contributions to 1A Warren. A close second, I will literally go ape shat fantastic if they unveil the 4 TE set.

A close third - Wiggins delivering the boom on some unlucky sap in white, gold and blue that electrifies the crowd.

A healthy and effective OL. If I had to name a single player on the team I'd go with Metz. If the OL is effective and avoids injuries I believe we are going to have a very good year. UCLA should provide a very good test right out of the gate.

Oh and I also want to see the special teams excel. So if I had to name a second player, I'd go with Crosa. It'd be great to see him get off to a nice start.
Smith punting is hopefully a given, but unreliable PK could easily cost us a game or two. Same with both ends of the return game.

I want UCLA to play mistake-free, so that the national ESPN audience thinks comes away thinking, "UC won," not "UCLA lost."

With that being said, I want to see some growth out of Ridder to where he goes thru his progressions and doesn't "tuck and run" if the first guy is covered. But the caveat to that is the OL has to do its job and doesn't cause him to run for his life.

No or limited penalties for the Cats.
Win the line of scrimmage. Enforce our will. Play our tempo.
Extremely loud Nippert. Students are back and only on day 4 of class so the Nip should be rocking.

This X1000. Most critical indication of success or failure this year.

Worst. answer. ever. 03-nutkick

I’ll go with Ridder showing improved check down capabilities and the defense stopping the run.

Don’t miss a FG under 45 yards.

A sellout with the crowd arriving early and staying late.
