Any list that doesn't have a G5 or FCS host is wrong.

Fingers crossed for a magical season by App State. With a win over UNC and a string of victories in Sun Belt play, maybe GameDay would consider coming to Boone in late October or early November.

Where did you think it was supposed to be? There was no obvious place for it, as there were no games vs ranked teams, so to me, Iowa vs Iowa State was as good a spot as any, as they are in-state rivals.

Plus, it was a new site for them, which is pretty big.

In the end, I don't think anyone can complain. Iowa State/Ames did a great job hosting, lively crowd, etc.

Yeah, only a grinch (and I'm not talking about OU's DC) could complain about Iowa State getting a chance to host GameDay. They've had dedicated fans for a very long time, even in years when they've had bad teams.
